Send Warm Wishes Shipping & Refund Policy

Shipping Rates
We offer free shipping on all of our letters and greeting cards. All products are shipped via USPS First Class mail.
 
When are Letters and Greeting Cards Mailed?
Letters are mailed on the 1st and 15th of each month. If you sign up for a subscription before or after these dates in any given month, your loved one’s first letter will be sent on the closest 1st or 15th (whichever comes first).

Greeting cards can be scheduled ahead of time or mailed right away. Current lead time is 5 business days (this does not include shipping).

 

How Quickly Do Letters and Cards Arrive?

USPS advertises that First Class mail will be delivered within 1 to 5 business days. While this is largely accurate, it may take longer for letters and cards to reach certain areas. Therefore, we do not guarantee delivery on a certain date. If you are scheduling a card in advance, we recommend erring on the side of caution and giving a few days of buffer to ensure it will arrive in time. Keep in mind that First Class mail will not be delivered on Sundays or USPS holidays
 
International Shipping
We currently only offer shipping to addresses within the U.S. We hope to be able to ship internationally in the future.
 
Postal Carrier
All letters and cards are mailed using the U.S. Postal Service.

 
Resending Letters
Given the nature of mail, resending letters may be required from time to time. We rely on timely information provided by our customers to ensure the recipient’s mailing address is correct. We expect customers to (1) provide an accurate and deliverable address when checking out and (2) promptly update their loved one’s mailing addresses with us if needed.
 
When a letter is not delivered due to a customer providing an incorrect or undeliverable mailing address for the recipient, we can resend one letter at no cost. Additional letters may be resent for $7 per letter.

If a recipient has moved, please notify our team at admin@sendwarmwishes.com with their updated address as early as possible. Failure to do so may result in delayed or undeliverable letters. If letters are missing due to not notifying us in a timely manner, we can resend one letter at no cost. Additional letters may be resent for $7 per letter.
 
If the letter is damaged, lost, or thrown away based on a recipient’s error, we can resend one letter at no cost. Additional letters may be resent for $7 per letter.

Resending Greeting Cards
Each customizable greeting card is made to order, and printing costs add up quickly. As a result, we are unable to resend greeting cards once they have been printed. A new order must be placed in order to have the card delivered. Please review your information closely at checkout to ensure the shipping address is correct. 

If you have scheduled a card in advance and need to update any information before it has been printed, send an email to admin@sendwarmwishes.com. Please include the order number as well as your full name and the recipient’s full name.

 

Requesting a Different Wisher

​- 12-Month Letter Subscriptions
If your loved one is signed up for a 12-month personalized letter subscription and is not satisfied with their assigned Wisher, you may request a different Wisher for them within 3 months for the cost of $7/letter already sent or processed. 

 

After 3 months, it is not possible to change Wishers due to the personalized nature of the letters. If your loved one is not happy with our service for any reason, please reach out to our team at admin@sendwarmwishes.com. We take feedback seriously and will attempt to come to a fair resolution.

 

- 6-Month Letter Subscriptions
For shorter subscriptions (less than 12 months), we do not offer the option to change Wishers. If your loved one is not happy with our service for any reason, please reach out to our team at admin@sendwarmwishes.com. We take feedback seriously and will attempt to come to a fair resolution.

Refund Policy
- Personalized Letter Subscriptions
As a small, family-run company with limited resources, we are not able to offer refunds on letter subscriptions after the first letter has been sent. If the first letter has not been sent yet, send an email to
admin@sendwarmwishes.com. We will refund the cost of the order minus processing fees.

 

If you need to cancel your package after the first letter has been sent, you can transfer it to another individual of your choosing. Alternatively, you can opt to have us donate the remaining letters to someone on our Wish List. For assistance with either option, please reach out to our team at admin@sendwarmwishes.com.

 

- Customizable Greeting Cards
Once printed, customizable greeting cards cannot be returned or exchanged. If you have scheduled a card in advance and need to cancel your order before your card has been printed, send an email to admin@sendwarmwishes.com. We will refund the cost of the order minus processing fees. Please include the order number as well as your full name and the recipient’s full name.
